About us
Kirenkai, established in 1992, is the only Aikido organization at the University of Tokyo which is belonging to Aikikai. Based on what we learned from Hiroshi Tada, 9th Dan Hombu Dojo Shihan, we practice under the first captain, Saiga Shihan.
In addition to understanding how to use your own body, we aim to move supplely through training that puts an emphasis on breathing control.

Training Schedule
The training schedule is basically as follows. Trial lesson and observation of practice are allowable at any time. If you want to come, please contact us from the contact page.

Mon. 16:00-18:35(5th period) 18:35-20:50(6th period)
Thu. 16:00-18:35(5th period) 18:45-21:00(6th period)
Sat. 8:00-10:00(1st period) 10:15-12:50(2nd period, noon)
Please check Google Calendar as there might be a change in schedule.
We usually practice at the judo hall on the 1st floor of the first gymnasium.
During the times marked in red, we are practicing in Physical Exercise Training Room 3 on the 3rd floor of the Communication Plaza North Building.

Sometimes the lessons are canceled for special reasons, so please check the calendar on the website.

There is no problem even in the middle of practice, so please come and visit us. For the experience, please come in easy-to-move clothes such as a jersey.

*Women's changing rooms are located on the 2nd floor of the First Gymnasium (we cannot use it now because of the building repair work, so should use the changing roomsof the First Gymnasium) and on the 3rd floor of Communication Plaza.

In the case of Communication Plaza, the changing room is locked, so please wait in front of Physical Exercise Training Room 3 until a member comes.
